- UK based device management and support software provider challenges market leaders -
Buckinghamshire UK, 4 June 2010: – CentraStage, a leading IT device management and support software provider, has today announced a record breaking quarter for 2010. 32 Local Authorities across the UK now support IT in schools with CentraStage, allowing LAs to reduce the cost of IT support to schools and improve efficiency by over 20%.
The SME-focussed SaaS offering, CentraStage Online, saw device numbers double in the past quarter and May saw the adoption of CentraStage by US retail giant Best Buy to manage their in-store demonstration devices in the UK. This made Q210 a lucrative quarter for the company.
Overall Q210 represents a 100% increase in devices being managed through CentraStage and the increased customer uptake is due to CentraStage’s proposition of intuitive, low-cost device management software. With version 3.5 due out in early June, bringing a host of new functionality, the upward trend in device numbers and customer acquisition is set to continue.
Commenting on the results, Christian Nagele, managing director at CentraStage said: “We are delighted with the performance of the business over the past few months. IT support businesses from across the globe are embracing our low-cost approach to IT device management – we pride ourselves on providing simple, effective technology at a sensible price – and it is testament to our proposition and technology that we are winning business from established industry leaders.”
Nagele continues, “Our technology is built and priced for IT support companies that want to offer remote monitoring and management without a huge financial outlay, or the need to reinvent their business model. We are able to adapt to the changing demands of customers far quicker and more effectively than some of our larger competitors, and we are confident that we can continue to offer our customers low-cost, effective technology. Offering a cloud solution means that we can scale effortlessly, and with momentum building week on week we are excited by what the future holds.”
