London, UK, Tuesday 31st May 2011 – CentraStage, (http://www.centrastage.com) the leading provider of cloud based remote monitoring, management and IT automation software, has been chosen by PC PAL (http://www.pcpal.co.uk/), the mobile computer report and repair service for homes and businesses, to underpin a new proactive IT support model for end users.

This relationship will see PC PAL dramatically expand its services, with CentraStage’s remote monitoring and management software becoming part of the company’s product set for current and future customers. This will enable PC PAL to monitor its SME and home customer’s computers and proactively respond to problems.

PC PAL can now offer a range of new services including IT audits, PC and system monitoring, remote support, script and software deployment, device management and configuration, licensing and reporting – through one intuitive easy-to-use web interface provided by CentraStage.

Managing Director of PC PAL Jat Mann said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with CentraStage. We were really impressed by their ‘ground up’ approach to developing products that fit perfectly with our customer base and are excited about working with such an innovative company. Their remote monitoring and management software will open up a number of new markets for us”.

Commenting on the partnership, Christian Nagele, CEO at CentraStage said: “We believe our partnership with PC PAL will be a very successful development for CentraStage and a great endorsement of the value and benefits of our services. Our technology is built and priced for IT support companies who want to offer remote monitoring and management, without the need to reinvent their business model. We are looking forward to working with PC PAL and enabling them to open up new markets”.

As mainstream business applications become more sophisticated and easier to install, update and manage, and devices themselves become more robust and reliable, there is a steadily decreasing requirement for overly complex and feature-rich IT management solutions. IT service providers and corporate IT departments are increasingly looking at their core requirements and finding that many tools are, in essence, excess to requirements.
