Leading provider of UK based serviced offices uses remote monitoring across its 8 servers–

Reading UK, 21st March 2012: The Business Environment Group, a leading provider of UK serviced office space has recently partnered with Centrastage, a leading IT management software provider to improve, regulate and monitor its devices across a portfolio of over 18 serviced office locations.

Prior to The Business Environment Group adopting Centrastage’s remote monitoring service, they were using an alternative provider of device monitoring. Due to restrictions with using this provider, the group had to rely heavily on the end-user granting access to their device. This meant that unnecessary amounts of time was being wasted, in an environment where it was time and delays that created bigger problems.

Graham Hefferman, IT and Communications Director for the group comments on the recent partnership, “The level of support delivered by Centrastage is fantastic and as a result, our response time has been dramatically reduced. Some incidents that we’ve had since working with Centrastage have saved us at least two to three hours from our working day, enabling us to redeploy our IT support’s time more efficiently.”

Hefferman continues, “We looked into a number of alternative service providers, and found that they were all too complicated for the solution we were after. Centrastage’s service offers multiple additions to the system we had in place previously, allowing us to deliver a range of new services including IT audits, PC and server monitoring, remote support, device management and configuration, software licensing and reporting.”

Christian Nagele, CEO of Centrastage comments, “Our technology is built and priced for organisations who want to offer remote monitoring and management, without a huge financial outlay or the need to reinvent their business model.  CentraStage is charged at £1 per device per month, and our ‘pay-as-you-go’ pricing model is designed for today’s financial climate. We pride ourselves on providing a simple, effective technology, and it is a testament to our proposition and offering that we are winning business from established industry leaders such as The Business Environment Group.”

The group has a £100million expansion plan in place over the next three years and will look to implement Centrastage’s monitoring solutions across the additional serviced offices as they add to their portfolio, continuing to provide more effective IT support.

Leading IT management provider to play key role in London’s new broadband network

BETT Show: London, UK, 11 January, 2012: CentraStage (http://www.centrastage.com) the leading IT management software provider, today announced its partnership with the London Grid for Learning.

CentraStage’s IT management technology is an important addition in the London Grid for Learning’s expansion of services for the 2,500 schools within the LGfL community. The LGfL/CentraStage partnership, delivered via the LGfL’s infrastructure and support partner, Atomwide, will see the essential CentraStage platform offered free to all LGfL 2.0 customers.

Central to this offering is the integration between CentraStage and the LGfL One Time Password solution from Atomwide, ensuring that all remote access into London schools is secured via 2-factor authentication.

Christian Nagele, Managing Director at CentraStage says: “LGfL has brought together an impressive range of services under the new LGfL 2.0 service umbrella, and we are delighted to be joining this community. Not only will all subscribing schools in London be able to take advantage of our leading audit and remote support capability for free, but it will be integrated with the LGfL’s One Time Password solution. This will provide IT support organisations and technicians within London with fully secure remote access into schools, in line with best practice and government guidelines.”

The partnership also means that LGfL customers will be able to easily and cost-effectively upgrade to the full CentraStage IT management suite – audit, monitoring, deployment and device management, remote support and reporting. Already running in over 4000 UK schools, CentraStage delivers huge efficiency savings to people supporting IT.

Brian Durrant, CEO of LGfL, comments: “By including CentraStage’s asset management and remote support technology in our LGfL 2.0 service portfolio free-of-charge, not only are we offering a market-leading IT management solution to our customers, but we are also able to deliver to London schools a truly secure network. By ensuring that all remote access into schools is secure and authenticated, we can address what has in the past been a big security hole in the education sector. In summary this new partnership with CentraStage once again highlights our commitment to deliver market-leading technology solutions to our customers at a competitive price, underpinned by an unswerving commitment to data and network security.”

Nagele concludes: “This is a very exciting partnership with LGfL, which will see CentraStage running on hundreds of thousands of devices across London schools. It is just the environment that we have designed, built and scaled the technology for – to help improve the provision and management of IT in education environments, and they don’t come much larger than London and the LGfL.”
