MSPmentor Guest Blog: Do Your Customers Trust That You Deliver Value?

Anyone going to be buying Facebook shares? I think I might – if only because it will be THE cool icebreaker for the next few months. What’s not to like. But a $100 billion valuation? That’s a big number – even in America where a billion is not quite what it is here in Europe. Where does that value come from and how do we trust that it’s for real?

Friends, customers, suppliers – a large part of the relationships we develop depend upon perceived value and trust and for most companies the marketing challenge is where to sit on the value-trust seesaw. Facebook leans towards value; their emphasis is on growing their user base by increasing the benefits that their users enjoy. They tend to talk publicly about trust only when security issues threaten growth. Banks tend to leverage trust; we’ll pay slightly higher fees if we’re sure our … Read More

CentraStage announces 300% revenue growth

- 2012 begins with 300% Revenue Growth & 150% Customer Increase -

Buckinghamshire, UK, 02 February, 2012: CentraStage (http://www.centrastage.com), the leading IT management software provider, confirms it’s ‘Little British Battler’ nomination by announcing revenue growth of over 300% in the past twelve months as the company’s customer base has grown by almost 150%.

Today CentraStage has:

An international footprint with clients in 12 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Panama, South Africa and several across Europe

Over 350 retained customers, up 150% on last year

Double the team of last year

The news follows a successful start to the year which has seen the company recognised by one of the UKs leading analyst houses, TechMarketView, as a ‘Little British Battler’. CentraStage has also recently won deals with the likes of the London Grid for Learning (LGfL) (which will see CentraStage technology running in all … Read More

The Cloud: Automated Updating providing CentraStage a superior hand

With recent news of Symantec pcAnywhere source code being hacked, around 50,000 people have been left exposed to a hacking group called ‘Lords of Dharmaraja’ based in India. According to the BBC news the source code theft of the remote access programme has left users vulnerable to “man in the middle” attacks. The company has asked customers to install the latest software update and follow their security guidelines to minimise the risks. However, those who fail to manually update the software will be left with their data exposed at the mercy of hackers and intruders.

The above example shows that even a successful company like Symantec, which has been around for a number of years is not immune from severe security threats. Products which require software installation & manual updating will always face such limitations & risks and can leave consumers vulnerable to external threats. Since CentraStage is hosted … Read More

TechMarketView LLP: Little British Battler, CentraStage disrupts IT management software market

A huge sense of achievement to be shortlisted as a Little British Battler by TechMarketView earlier this month, and huge credit should go to the whole team here at CentraStage for getting us to this position. TechMarketView focus squarely on our sector and there are few more widely read daily newsletters than their UKHotViews, so when we made the shortlist of 12 companies (out of over 150) we were thrilled. A quick nod at this stage to one of my CentraStage co-founders, Paul Evans, as he had both his businesses in the top 12 (Redstor also made it), a great achievement.

Why are we so chuffed with being shortlisted? Several reasons, some more hard-nosed and business-related; but others more related to seeing the fruits of your hard work, and the hard work of the entire team here at CentraStage, recognised by others (and in the face of stiff and … Read More
